Super Bowl LV was being hosted in our hometown of Tampa, Florida, on Sunday, February 7, 2021, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were making history as the first team to have home field advantage for the big game! While this would mark the city of Tampa’s 5th time to host the National Football League (NFL) championship, it was the first time a game of this magnitude was played during a global pandemic. With Sarina as its host, the special podcast series was an opportunity to take an inside look at game day preparations and the excitement happening throughout Tampa Bay.
Sky Strategic Marketing’s Operations Director Audra Butler served as the Executive Producer of “Countdown to Tampa Bay LV with Sarina Fazan,” working closely with Sarina and the technical team to plan and execute the live streamed episodes. She explained, “Sarina raised the idea of doing daily podcasts leading up to the game, which, in addition to the studio shows, included a live remote two days before the game. It was the perfect situation to create a podcast series with local and national interest.”
Over the course of eight live streamed episodes, Sarina was joined at the studio by Tampa Bay dignitaries, including pro players, NFL insiders, local officials, and more – with all interviews live streamed on Red House Streaming’s and Sarina Fazan’s social media channels.
